The update stopped working after driving less than 100 miles before it failed. Very easy to install, it probably took 15-20 minutes max. Gaskets are not included in the kit, I had to buy them from the parts store. I am only giving 4 stars at the moment because there is no guide on how to relearn your RPM controller. I have no doubt people send this part back thinking they have a defective one. When you first change it you will have a high idle and your throttle will be a bit wonky while driving. Just let the car idle for 3 minutes, then turn it off for 1 minute, then idle again for 3 minutes. If that doesn't reduce the idle speed, cruise at speeds over 40 mph for 5-10 minutes. If you don't want to do any of this that you don't need to do, you can take it to a stolen unit or your mechanic and have him with his computer do it for you reset. You can expect to pay between $150 and $200 for it.
