Review on JSHint by Daniel Truett

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great code coverage tool and even better community support

I like that it's free, open source software - which means you can use any version or fork as necessary without having licensing issues when your team grows (or if things change).

It has some quirks but nothing too bad; just be patient with how well supported certain features are by other people who have used them before! We're using jshint for linter purposes only at this point because we haven't found anything else yet that does what our needs require perfectly enough to switch over completely from another product/toolset.

Pros
  • It works well in our small team's workflows
Cons
  • The syntax is a little confusing at times (especially when multiple rules are used), so it takes a bit of practice with to master if you haven't had much experience with other "linting tools" (but I still think it's easier than other linters in general)
