The best solution for running with things I've found

I've been running 3 miles/5 km 4 times a week for the past 6 months. I've tried shorts with dedicated pockets, unnecessary belts/belt pouches, and lightweight backpacks specifically designed for running (which is ALMOST true, but I'd say less). This is the best fit I've found for a typical run, and I'll explain why below - something important: I'm 6ft tall with a 38-40" chest (depending on the time of year); This pack fits me incredibly well and I suppose it could fit most people really well, but I think it's worth mentioning as any product like this is (to some extent) limited in its regulation. WHY IT'S AWESOME: - Super light (you'll hardly even notice it's on) - VERY comfortable: wear over a shirt and shirtless - never chafed or bothered while running I find phones, keys and cards in my shorts/pockets ( even on purpose-built) will inevitably affect walking comfort, waist belts/waist pockets too (though to a lesser extent than typical shorts/trouser pockets). Of these options, this option is the most comfortable. When I'm running, I can put in: smartphone (I think it fits the vast majority of smartphones, but if you have it on a MASSIVE device, you can increase its capacity); thin wallet (if you have a big wallet you can remove your credit card and ID) two keys. I could definitely fit a bit more in the bag if I wanted to, but that's all I really need. To be honest with so many places accepting mobile payments these days, all I really need is my phone and keys. This carrying capacity is great because I can stop at a bar at the end of my run or meet someone up somewhere for lunch/beer etc without having to run home or run with a bigger/bulkier backpack; made: I wore it in the rain and it did an amazing job of keeping everything inside dry (wetsuit material I think); I've had it for many years now and it's still basically like new (easy to clean, I use a cleaning brush and hand soap). - Doesn't look weird: This was one of my problems when I got it, but it really doesn't look weird at all when activated; a zippered pocket, but if you're using wireless headphones (like mine) that have features that allow you to take calls, that's not a problem.
