Rugged production gear

As a content creator, I love being able to read from a script while capturing video. In this sense, the teleprompter becomes an indispensable piece of equipment for me. A few years ago I tried to build a teleprompter with my own hands. I do not recommend going this route. I wanted to use my iPad as a computer for a teleprompter, and back then the options for such a teleprompter were limited. found a simple device that worked but was cumbersome to use, so it stayed in storage for a few years. That teleprompter is pretty cool. It folds up for easy storage and comes with its own storage case. That's already a big bonus for me. Setting up the prompter is simple: loosen the mirror mounting screws, adjust to the correct angle, tighten the screws and ensure the cover fits snugly against the back of the mirror assembly. a bit difficult to understand because there is some information that I think was lost in translation. For example, the instructions ask the user to "stick” the fabric cover to the back with Velcro. I think they just wanted to say "attach". This surprised me when I first read this because I didn't expect to have to glue anything and then I saw the word "Velcro" and understood what was meant. The gear feels solid and heavy enough to balance with a full-size camera, but not too heavy to carry around from shot to shot. I would like to point out that you still need to download the teleprompter app for your mobile device as the text needs to be upside down to display correctly in the mirror glass. You also need to make sure you have a tripod strong enough to hold the setup. Also, it seems to be a good production gear.
