Review on 📺 Boost XT Pro Winegard - Outdoor Preamplifier with Integrated Channel Finder for Ultra-Low Noise by Lisa Rice

Before this amp I had good S/N but very weak signal so intermittent noise knocked out my TV signal. After adding this amp I had about the same signal to noise ratio but with a higher signal level and perfectly stable reception. However, it was only about 3 weeks before I noticed that my intake was deteriorating. Checking the data showed that I regularly get unrecoverable errors. The oscilloscope output had intermittent signal voltage spikes that were only present when the amplifier was on. I tried other 5V DC power supplies but the error was still there so it could only be the amp itself. This initially seemed like a very good product and could be ideal for those who have a shorter route from the amp to the tuner, but in my case with a 50ft RG6 between the injector and the antenna itself, the amp started to work after less than 1 month to fail . I am now using the cm7777hd cable master in high gain mode which has actually improved my signal/noise (maybe the filters are helping) and gives an even higher and more stable signal and seems to be a more reliable product so far.
