Easy to install and I'm a jerk when it comes to installing most things. I wanted to create extra "shelves" in a closet that I use as an extra pantry. Since I live in a very small apartment, this closet is in my spare room - in other words, it's hard to find storage space in my house. . However, I measured carefully and read the reviews carefully. They are perfect for my needs. At 8 I built a shelf with 2 + cornice (unused) in the closet; second with 3; and the third with 3. The first two now support food boxes and the third supports cupcake and popover trays. The bars are thin and inexpensive, and I was aware of the length limitations, so I didn't ask them to support anything very heavy. And just in case, I planned to use more than 2 in the "shelf". To install, I actually figured out how to unscrew and then pull them off without leaving any damage or marks in my closet. So I am very happy with this purchase! So my 8 tie rods are now doing an excellent job of supporting some not so light pantry clips and bakeware. I am happy about my purchase!
