Review on KYB 565104 MonoMax Gas Shock by Maxwell Thomas

Easy to install. I didn't have any attachments with me and with a couple of wrenches I made it in under 2 hours (too excited to wait). No jack needed or anything like that. Remove the two bolts, replace the shock absorber and bolt everything back on 1 of 5 for trouble. I was trying to reduce the sway of my 2004 GMC Sierra 2500HD when I had my Lance Lite 820 truck in the bed. The truck only has 60,000, but it's 16 years old. I've been hiking a lot this year due to COVID and aggressively driving along the riverbank has been stressing me out. The biggest hit for the buck was the lower arm bumpers. I went with heavy Moogs. It made a big difference, and with their installation, management is better than ever. I have front shocks, but I've installed upgrades one at a time to see what gets the most bang for your buck. I wasn't sure I needed new low mileage shocks but one rear shock blew completely and the other came back very slowly. I'm not sure how they will drive without a loaded truck, but the truck drove hard. before, so I'm hoping for the same.
