Very impressed with the shocks, struts and suspension

I just installed these shocks on the back of my 2005 Dodge Ram 1500. I am very happy with how well they drive, especially when towing a regular (4 wheel) cargo trailer. I had never heard of this brand before doing some research but I would recommend them without hesitation. They seem to have a great combination of durability and responsiveness.

  • Hands free operation

Great dampers at a good price.

Great shock absorbers at a great price. I just installed these KYB shocks along with Air Ride 1000 HD airbags on the back of my 2014 Ram 1500 Hemi truck. The truck has only clocked up 45,000 miles, but towing a 32-foot, 7,000-pound road trailer with a 1,000-pound hitch requires maximum bump and G-force stability. The dampers were very easy to install. I pulled on the rear springs to install the airbags as it was easier than trying to slip them through the coils of the spring. The truck pulls…

Good so far for shocks, struts and suspension

I replaced all 4 shocks with a 2001 gmc 2500 hd 4x4. This made my truck turn much better than expected. The truck is much better on the road. The ride isn't smooth but not terrible, it's 2500hd and it'll never have a drive. The question is how long do they last? All the instructions are in Mexican, but how hard is it to install the shocks? How they behave off-road remains to be seen, it can't get any worse than 18-year-old factory dampers with a mileage of 330,000 km. Tip, if you feel like…

Best I've found for HD Truck

Application 2001-2010 Chevy/GMC 2500HD 4WD Pickup (Duramax), No Lift, 275/60-20 Tires: Tried Bilstein 5100 and Rancho Beats RS9000XL was like that disappointed in both that I took them off after driving less than 20,000 miles on each. None of them offered enough rebound control to keep the truck from moving after moderate compression like a high-speed drop or a road bump, etc., resulting in a wobbly and unstable feel. The KYB shocks are superb, even softer (for an HD truck) on bumps, railroad…

Super easy installation 100% worth it

Easy to install. I didn't have any attachments with me and with a couple of wrenches I made it in under 2 hours (too excited to wait). No jack needed or anything like that. Remove the two bolts, replace the shock absorber and bolt everything back on 1 of 5 for trouble. I was trying to reduce the sway of my 2004 GMC Sierra 2500HD when I had my Lance Lite 820 truck in the bed. The truck only has 60,000, but it's 16 years old. I've been hiking a lot this year due to COVID and aggressively driving…
