Doesn't work!: GPS tracker

I ordered this product last Saturday after my dog ran away and was gone for 2 hours. I received it on Monday, there were only minor problems with pairing (the tracker needed to be charged). Today (Friday) my dog chased a rabbit, quickly left my safe area and headed for a corn field a quarter mile from me. No notifications on my phone that the m6 dog has left its home zone. The card showed that she was safe at home. Eventually I got a call from a woman who was about a mile and a half away who had found her. When I went to pick her up, the app finally showed her location. This product didn't help me find them. It's useless. How do I get my money back?*** Updating my review to provide more context. ***Pros First: The product does not require a subscription as it does not use a cellular network to retrieve GPS data and display location. The device uses radio waves to communicate between the tracker and the base unit. The base station uses Bluetooth to connect to your phone and uses your phone's GPS to determine the location, meaning you'll have to put the base station in your pocket if you're going on a long hike. For four days, as long as my dog was in the yard and within 100 feet of the base unit, his location was properly tracked. Elastic band and put the foundation in your pocket while walking the dog. When I got back to work I forgot to take the base out of my bag so the tracker says the base traveled 5 miles to and from work. . She chased a rabbit and disappeared into a nearby cornfield. When I checked the app, it showed that she was still home. I checked her kennel to make sure the tracker isn't popping out and falling out. The application showed that the tracker was read, which I think means that a connection could not be established. No problem, I thought. I just drive by where it normally runs and I can pick up the tracker again (we live on 5 acres within 1 sq mile of country roads). I circled the place twice and never picked up before their signal. Finally I got a call from a woman who lived on the west side of the square (we live on the south side) and she saw our dog running across the street and opened her car door and our dog jumped right in. drove right next to her car and the base and tracker never synced. I went and took my dog. When I got her home and checked the app, she showed that she was still on the west side of the square where I picked her up. I waited a few seconds and he finally showed it at home. The device worked until I needed it and then it stopped. I'm changing my rating from 1 to 3 stars because this company's customer service is excellent. They were in constant contact, promptly refunded my money and sent me a return label so they could check my unit to see what went wrong. They promised to contact me and let me know what they found.

Pros
  • 🐕LIVE AND LONG RANGE TRACKING: The Petfon GPS tracker is easy to install and use. Just download the Petfon app and follow the instructions. With the app, you can track your pet's activities and know their location at any time. The tracking range can be up to 0.65 miles in downtown/densely populated areas and 3.5 miles in open areas. But it is influenced by others.
