Review on πŸš— Securely Mount Your Garmin with the Portable Friction Dashboard Mount by Anthony Parker

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very stable and suitable for countries, states or localities that do not allow windshield mounts

I bought this because I travel a lot with my Nuvi and use it for rent. I lost my windshield mug after forgetting it and I can't carry it in my briefcase due to its irregular shape. I recently rented a car in Italy and was told I can't mount my Nuvi on the windshield because it's illegal. I didn't know if that was true or not, or if they were just trying to get me to rent their place on a beanbag for a lot of money. So I moved around with this thing propped up and taped to the dash, but that was a real problem. There are many states in the US that restrict window fasteners. See [.] Bean bags are very effective and good when used in the same vehicle. But if you need to travel with them, they can be bulky and heavy. I saw this product at Revain and ordered it based on the positive reviews. I'm glad I did. I think it's great. It folds relatively flat so I can carry it more easily than a suction cup, it's not that heavy, the flexible base and fins conform to all sorts of shapes, whether you place it on the dash or center console, and after the adjustment it is really very stable. on the vehicle surface of your choice. My Nuvi has never fallen over or slipped off any surface and I have tried to make it fail. So if the bean bag chair isn't for you, you can try this. I've done it and I think it's a good product that does what it's supposed to do.
