Do not work on markings. Made cheap.

They're so cute when you just want them for decoration. I bought this 3 or 4 months ago but just recently tried using it to mark stitches on a blanket I am crocheting. I was very disappointed to find that only one had a clasp that opened properly. One doesn't open very well though and the other 3 don't open at all! I wouldn't recommend them if you want to use them as markers.
