Review on 2021 Upgraded iRonsnow Weather Alert Radio with 5000mAh 📻 Battery: Solar Hand Crank, SOS Alarm, Flashlight & Cellphone Charger by Douglas Davis

I've tried several different weather radios and haven't been able to find the perfect combination of all the features I've been looking for. This weather radio really packs a punch; Reading light, flashlight, solid antennas, solar/crank/battery power options, flashing light, SOS siren, battery to charge devices and weather alert separate from weather broadcast area. Most weather warning radios have an alarm and weather broadcast together on the same setting. So when a weather alert goes off, it pauses the weather broadcast for a minute and can't be turned off unless you turn off the radio or switch to AM or FM. This was very annoying and made it impossible to hear the weather forecast that minute. This radio has 4 settings: AM, FM, WB and Alert. When the radio is set to alarm and a weather event occurs, the alarm will sound and you can then select the WB option to hear the weather or press the SOS button to turn off the alarm. I don't have to waste a minute with important weather information until the alarm clock rings. The running snail weather clock radio I tried and returned went off every 3 minutes driving me nuts. Another great thing about this radio is that it is reliable. It is durable and seems to last a very long time. If a tornado hits my house, I don't want a cheap weather receiver that could break in a fall. I tried Midland Weather Radio and it seemed very cheap and the antennas were so loose it fell off when I was walking with it. It also didn't have an SOS siren, only an SOS blinker. Not very good when you're buried under a pile of rubble and there's no light to be seen. They do one with a dog whistle, but what if the rescuers don't have dogs with them? It took a few wrong turns and a lot of research to find this weather radio, and it was well worth the time. This radio is exactly what I was looking for and I can only recommend it.
