As a fairly large consumer of lemons (iced tea, cooking etc) I was intrigued by this quasi-retro juicer. Here are my impressions: style and weight are perfect. The handles are long and well covered with handles. The bowl is large enough for large lemons, limes and most oranges. Large oranges won't fit in 1/2 cuts Provides good lemon juice flow into receptacle - no side squeezing or juice ejection Long handles provide good leverage and squeezing ability Easy to hand wash and listed as dishwasher safe Some cons: Handles can tend to to flex a bit under pressure - not a big problem or a deal breaker. There's a gap between the squeezing surfaces - maybe 1/8"? In any case, that gap doesn't allow the two parts to close completely, all that delicious juice and oil. I found that when I squeezed the lemon very well Squeeze out (with the cut side toward the drain holes) and then turn them over, releasing some more juice and oil.
