Review on Soundbar YAMAHA YAS-107 by Micha Kowalski Czajo ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not exactly the product I wanted, the price and quality do not match.

And once more, a passive output to the sub; I was looking for an active one, but I missed it. However, there is an alternative, so there is no need to, which is wonderful. You can choose what you want, therefore it's fortunate that the sub isn't included. Now let's talk sound. Here, everything is intricate. I have several different noises. And after using the LG soundbar for years (it had a subwoofer, but it was usually off), which was long withdrawn from sale, I made the decision to purchase my own soundbar to install at home. Yamaha was selected as a result since, for the cheapest possible price (ha ha), she could access the sub, but the sub itself was not. After hanging it from the ceiling and turning it on, I was still at a loss. The biggest issue is that there is no balanced sound even with all the various settings for such a device (stereo, mono, surround, built-in subwoofer with independent adjustment, clear voice). With one of the settings stupidly falling back, bass at the same setting for medium and high can buzz in the brain or be inaudible. Medium or provide a crisp sound similar to monitors, but similar to monitors, not bright and flat, so once again, fail. There aren't enough of them; the tall ones can even hiss and chirp, which is already repulsive. Generally speaking, the device's buttons and remote control offer no option to choose a comfortable sound. It's also improper to apply equalizers to a sound source. In general, I have two speakers and will connect them as subwoofers; perhaps I will also remove the soundbar. This soundbar was ineffective when used independently. However, the sub has an output ;D.

Pros
  • - Good Bluetooth (so far, at least). - A line-filtered output for the subwoofer (pay attention!). - You can select the most appropriate sound from the speaker's entire catalog of sounds using a variety of settings. - You can adjust the subwoofer's volume and add or eliminate bass. Even it appears to alter in proportion to the primary one. - Cardboard for making wall-mounted hole markings:
Cons
  • I didn't really enjoy anything, yes. Disappointingly, the output of the subwoofer is passive. Second disappointment: I didn't like the sound of the word at all in general. Between 60-75% and 100%, the amount of sound remains the same.
