I bought a mount for my desk. I work in a small office where we prefer not to turn on the fluorescent overhead lighting and opt for softer lighting, which requires adding a light source directly above our workspace. The light is very light so I wasn't sure how well it would work. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy the installation is. I simply used the supplied magnets to attach the lamp under my office box. The second photo shows a small magnetic plate. This is a great feature as you can remove it and then easily replace it. This allows me to use the light as a flashlight if I ever drop something under or behind a table. I also like that you can choose the light type (soft, blue, daylight) and dim the lighting. In the first photo you can see a small control switch.
