Review on 🐾 Enhance Pet Safety with Cardinal Gates Wrought Iron Step Over Freestanding Pet Gate by Frank Alejo

We needed a barrier in front of the stairs to keep our English bulldog from going up to the second floor. I've tirelessly searched for alternatives to the usual, ugly baby gates. We went through this phase with our son and I will not put another one in my house. I didn't want to be constantly building something into the wall or constantly opening and closing the latch. In the end it turned out great! The metal is very similar to our railings, so that's a plus. It's short enough that we don't have to move it to go up or down stairs, even my (tall) 6 year old can easily handle it. It's so big and heavy that our dog didn't even try to get around it. Please note this will not work with a larger/active dog. We have a real fat english bulldog, he doesn't jump for nothing! Feet/screws are very loose as stated in previous reviews. Now that I know this gate is the gatekeeper I'm going to put some glue on the screws and hope this helps hold them in place. Overall I'm very happy with it.
