Passed two of these on a (small) 20# trolling motor and they are too fragile in my opinion. The wires are very small, aluminum? Two simply unscrewed, the wire melted when soldering. The device has stopped working several times, can cool down and work again. I saw some other similar comments and referred to the DROK device. Got it and it seems a lot more reliable, albeit without reverse gear or LED. And you will strengthen the case and insert the fan. Luckily I like tinkering around and studying a bit of mechanical engineering. Wish me luck.
