This is the correct wrench size for VW 2.5L CBUA or CBTA filters. If you want to change your oil and you have a VW with one of these engines (Golf, Jetta, Passat, Beetle etc) you will need this wrench or something similar to get to the oil filter cartridge. This key is solid metal and should have no problem surviving a fleet of cars. I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because it tends to stick to the filter housing when I'm using it. You can remove it with the wrench extension you used to tighten/loosen the body with it, but it's annoying when you first use it.
