Review on Simpatico Satin Nickel 31661SN Moen Shower Chateau Series Trim Kit: Stylish Design with Durable Brass Escutcheon Screws, Tube, and Handle by Johnathan Stoner

Wanted to upgrade my existing tarnished Moen chrome from last century - but - my pick, the ridiculously gorgeous Delta Lahara bronze champagne would cost $800 due to valve replacement - so - plan B - This kit, along with a new bar and head, costs less than $100. It was an easy install after I received the part I needed, but I would like to offer two pieces of advice. ONE: The Venetian bronze is much lighter than the picture, almost copper in color. This ORB is DARK as described and matches my doorknobs so I went with it. TWO: If you have a legend (deeper shell), you cannot use the lock without moving the valve. I've tried it and as someone else pointed out, the water flows and stays there until you remove the kit and manually pull the valve back out. Too bad. I like it a lot more. Happy plumbing! I feel successful and know too much now LOL
