Plastic tips

I was so excited to see them making hooks with lights then I got mine and tried to knit. I have no crochet experience but I've made a few things and am still learning. I found them awful to use. Yarn (whatever I tried) didn't slip off the hook easily. I found myself constantly pulling on the hook because the yarn was hanging over the shoulder of the hook. I'm returning the product because I'm sure I won't need it if it's not what I expected.
