Our 10+ inch red ear slider sucks! He has been with us for over ten years. He gnaws EVERYTHING and does not allow anything alive in his enclosure. The shards sink to the bottom and constantly pollute the water. The shards of this food float to the surface where he eventually eats all the small pieces. And he's chasing every bit of it like a puppy when he sees me with food in my hand. And no, he's not malnourished, just really excited to get that meal. He gets freeze-dried shrimp, aquatic plants to puke with crickets, and even the rare cometfish, but nothing gives him more pleasure than this meal, the weirdest thing he's ever made.
