Please note that some screws may be missing. Luckily, I keep a ton of similar screws in my toolbox for firmly attaching rackmount adapters to equipment. I bought this switch because I have a home network that is in dire need of more Ethernet ports and extra power for compatible devices. I also needed something I could manage without the high cost of other enterprise PoE switches. This turned out to be the right solution for my home network. My complaint is that I want Netgear to place an ethernet port on the other side of the device as a pass-through to free up other ethernet ports on the front of the device for cable management purposes. Not to mention the black painted version. Quite a bit of visible dust is expected on my open rack setup. This device requires you to sign in to an app on your smartphone or connect to the internet to complete the initial setup. Subscription is optional, but you get a free trial subscription for remote cloud management. All in all, this smart switch is perfect for a small network, whether for business or personal use. I recommend this to everyone.
