These switches were identical to the original switches on my bike. Installation was easy and they work great. The hardest part of the installation was removing the rubber handlebar grips. It's nice that these switches come with the cables installed. This avoids the hassle of installing your own cables. A minor annoyance is that the gear indicator for gears 1-8 is not centered on the gear number on the display. This issue does not affect functionality and you will get used to it. Either way, the gear indicator is infinitely better than my old 1-8 shifter that was unreadable. I was tempted to buy another set as a spare because they are so cheap and my switches always wear out.
