I love this thing! In fact I’m using it right now. I have a leather couch with wider arms than shown in the picture. I like to have my morning coffee on the couch while checking social media on my tablet. It was a bit tricky balancing my coffee cup on the arm, especially when my dog wants to cuddle. The way my furniture is set up a side table isn’t an option on "my” end of the couch. I ordered the darker color which matches perfectly with my burgundy/cordovan couch. I thought I would have trouble with slipping and was prepared to some rubber sticky pads underneath, but so far I have not had too. BTW - it also works great for wine at night while watching TV.
