I was so excited when I discovered this product. Most voltage converters are much larger, heavier and generally bulkier. First use on 220V and my electronics blew (even smoked) and the hotel circuit had to be reset. This product clearly didn't go to 110V, otherwise it wouldn't have happened. The other transformer in the same hotel circuit was fine (thank goodness I took the old one too!) but damn it was an expensive and bad lesson. The only thing I have connected to this transformer are obviously toasts.
