Our kitchen swivel chair was wobbly and unstable. Someone could get hurt if we don't fix the problem. I took the chair to a furniture repair shop and was told that they could not completely fix the problem and we would need a new base. On the internet, the chair base was priced at over $200. Then my husband and I watched a video on how to fix a swivel chair. He removed the broken part from the base of the chair, handed it to me, I found the part online and ordered it. When it arrived my husband was able to replace the broken part in minutes and the chair is now stable and ready to sit on with no dangerous wobbling and was a lot cheaper than replacing the base.
