Compared to the Beltronic Pro 100, it has a slightly lower output. I get more false positives with this CR70, but at half the price, that's perfectly acceptable performance. In a comparative test on the same route, the CR70 tends to give more false alarms in the safety systems, distance measurement and vehicle collision avoidance. The device replaced the prematurely deceased Whistler XTR-555 (more sounds). Compared to the XTR-555, the CR70 system appears to have better performance, but I was unable to run parallel performance tests due to the XTR-555's early demise. An acceptable performance for the price. However, I prefer and recommend upgrading to a next level product like Beltronic.
