For Experienced Shoppers, Prois's Online Store Falls Short

Even though I consider myself an excellent internet shopper, I had a terrible time using the Prois online store. Their footwear might be great for trail running and hiking, but their website leaves much to be desired. Site takes too long to load, design is unclear, and product descriptions are vague. There are too many steps in the purchasing procedure and too many documents to fill out. The delivery was delayed longer than anticipated, and the package arrived damaged. Even though the shoes themselves were high quality, they showed up with scuff marks and other indicators of previous use. There was a significant delay in receiving a response from customer service. The few times I did hear back, the information provided was useless and only served to aggravate me further. As a seasoned consumer, I can say that unless major changes are made to the Prois online store, I would not suggest it. Everything about it was subpar, from the website's sluggish functionality to the unhelpful customer service.

Pros
  • A selection of alternatives to cater to individual preferences.
Cons
  • It can be difficult to find your way through an online store.
