The pens show which lead they have which is great. I know nothing about pencils. New here, take drawing courses through Udemy. I like the texture, when you hold a pencil it feels good in your hand. The packaging is a paper-thin plastic tray in a paper-thin cardboard box. They are not suitable for leaving pencils in, if you put something on them the lead can easily break. That's a nit pick. I don't expect a solid case for the price. I used each pencil and made a pattern, this is the attached picture, I tried to use the same print with each one. I can't say much if there is a difference between the lines. Maybe it's normal and it should be super thin? Maybe I'll learn to notice those subtle differences along the way. Some wires were thicker than others, but the way they laid out on paper looked the same. I also ran my finger over each of them and he smeared the same across the page. Good value for money, I would recommend having something to store your pens other than the box they come in. The kit doesn't come with a pencil sharpener so it's next on my list.
