Review on 🚦 MicroBypass Parking Brake Switch: Enable Video in Motion for Pioneer AVH-4100NEX and AVH-4200NEX by Phillip Brown

I added a Pioneer head unit to my wife's car which gave us access to features that would not be available without the handbrake. We used to ground the brake cable to the head unit and that tempted the Pioneer unit to open up all the features Pioneer designed. So we used the mute wire and moved it to a different pin and ground and that would put the unit into a working demo mode, Pioneer closed that. This bypass works by sending a ground signal to the electronic brake wire shortly after the main unit starts, causing the radio to assume the electronic brake was applied after the radio started. This bypass works perfectly.
