Not original but not far off the quality, they didn't skimp on the production and it certainly works fine. Extremely easy to use, being able to pour the right amount of coffee with just one finger via the retractable handle is simply amazing. That shows how overpriced Nestlé cars are. I've always used Dolce Gusto because I could make both coffee and espresso, no longer in the US market and my Esperta broke. Never switched because I'm a coffee drinker too, Nespresso machines just aren't good for anything other than espresso. This one almost closes that gap, wish it was bigger to accommodate bigger receivers but I was able to work around that. They probably decided not to deviate from the look and size of the Nespresso machine, but they had to, you can make larger cups like Dolce Gusto.
