I had serious doubts about buying this chair after reading the reviews, but the New Year's Eve sale had a very notable discount, and for $12,500 I chose not to be impulsive. I feel fortunate. I did not find any additional issues with the chair save a day's delay in delivery. The components are all set out in bags and taped back together in the box, which is packed in polyethylene. Everything arrived in the box entirely complete. There were no issues with assembly, especially as I used a screwdriver to pull everything together without straining. I removed the pillow from under the lower back because it seemed unnecessary to me.
