Not bad but not as good as Curad type silicone gel

I bought a sheet that came in a padded envelope, no box so there may have been a few sheets in the box. The sheet is very thin and had several folds. If you place it on a large area the creases won't affect performance, but I cut mine into smaller squares so I noticed some adhesion issues when I had a smaller area with a crease. I'm very sensitive to latex and have applied it to my face without any reaction whatsoever, so I'm pretty sure if latex is present in the composition or the adhesive it is a negligible amount. I use Curad silicone gel sheets, which I really like but are too expensive. It doesn't have the same effect. It doesn't blister as there is no better term for promoting healing, but appears to reduce swelling and be effective on keloid scars. The color pairs well with fair to medium skin tones and with a loose powder to dull the shine, you can apply it to exposed areas of the body without it being noticeable. I can maintain good adhesion for several days if the area is clean, dry and free of hair before application. I would suggest using rubbing alcohol around the perimeter of the affected area to remove excess oil prior to application to maximize adhesion. After removing I noticed a residue which I was able to clean off with soap and warm water but they are sticky so I wouldn't recommend this for open wounds or stitches but to prevent scarring. I would give 4 stars if it weren't for the wrinkles and the questionable amount of silicone that actually makes contact with the skin. The price is fair, but I'm not sure it could be better for a sheet than your local hardware store (which usually has a better selection of silicone products than the drug store).
