I really like this switch. It looks very nice and works well. However, I was very disappointed with the wiring of the plug (this wiring was largely the reason I chose this item). After installation, the switch did not work properly, but upon inspection I found that the problem was not with the switch but with the wrong connection of the cord to the outlet, causing it to fall off. I fixed it myself instead of resetting it because I didn't want to remove it from a completed install. It worked fine for a day but failed again due to another dropped connection that I had to fix. Poor crimp and/or solder connections are common with cheap products. I have seen this with many other products from other manufacturers who also use poor assembly practices and rely on customers for quality control. Very uncomfortable! If you don't mind doing your own quality control, buy this, but examine carefully. Or just solder the wires directly to the back of the switch.
