I work from home and for some projects they send me a laptop to use on a specific project. I have a JideTech 2-port KVM switch that works great, but I'm tired of disconnecting and running the HDMI and USB cable from computer to computer to use the keyboard and mouse. This 4 port KVM switch is exactly what I need. Pros: - Small and compact - Cables included - Easy to install - SwitchKey comes with a long cable so you don't have to plug in the main unit - Build quality is good - Packaging is good Cons: - Cables are proprietary so you can't get it more of it - more of an annoyance than a disadvantage, but I use one of the HDMI/USB inputs to extend my work laptop's external output. When I switch to a different input, everything on that screen jumps to my laptop screen. When I go back to my work laptop I have to return everything. This has not happened with my 2 port KVM. Like I said, more trouble than cheating. I would definitely recommend this to a friend as a cheap KVM option.
