This product combines a key with a unique wedge nut to slow down a would-be thief. The socket tools are quite flimsy, but the engagement is solid. The spline design appears to be unique to McGard, so a pre-made spline key may not fit. Wedge nuts have a rotatable base, which is a nice feature, but a wedge nose does not. If you really care about aesthetics, the splines look decent; It's a translucent black color that doesn't fuss but looks clean. The key bar is different, so a bit confusing. Overall a good product for wheel tuning. People who frequently need to remove wheels may need something more reliable.
