For 2020 Subaru Outback Onyx Edition Factory key will NOT fit. Technically it will NOT work on this vehicle. Workaround: You need to go out and buy a bigger wrench. Everything should work without any additional tools. This needs to be stated so I will be returning this set from now on.

I bought this exact kit for my previous car about 7 years ago and the quality of the locks and normal heads was high. I agree with every negative rating. These bushings WILL fail and you'd better order a replacement before they do. It was a money grab, my McGard got an extra $20 for a spare outlet.

Horrible quality ring nuts. The wheel lock broke in half when I rotated it on the cleats. This product is very dangerous and I advise you not to put it on your car. Now I have a half lock nut on my wheels. This means that the rivets will be torn off. So now this product is costing me even more money to rethread the cleats. Seriously avoid this product.

This product combines a key with a unique wedge nut to slow down a would-be thief. The socket tools are quite flimsy, but the engagement is solid. The spline design appears to be unique to McGard, so a pre-made spline key may not fit. Wedge nuts have a rotatable base, which is a nice feature, but a wedge nose does not. I love this wheel lock kit and Amazon had the lowest price. They seem expensive but I'm impressed with their overall quality. They have the most slot machines of any brand I've seen. The rotating lip is a great feature to reduce the chance of scratching the wheels. I want the lock to be the same. I recommend that when you receive your kit you register on the McGard website and order an additional lock and spline tool and 2 pouches. At first glance the workmanship of these grommets was pretty good. The rotating base is a nice feature so the lugs don't scratch the wheels as much. The main downside is the durability of the locks that come with the kit. They don't hold well and are easy to remove even when manually removed with glass rods. Sturdy and well made in the USA with a lifetime warranty. I also like that the bottom of the nuts is an independent rotating piece of metal. Once it makes contact with your wheel, it stays still while the rest of the nut is unscrewed. That way the nut never rubs on your wheel. I installed it on my 2017 Outback.
