This is the first reaction. I got the laptop, cleaned it up and downloaded a few games. On the plus side, I like the sleek looks of the laptop and the bright and crisp screen. I like all the ports coming out the back and the fans aren't loud enough to be noticeable. The sound wasn't impressive as I had a hard time even hearing it and frankly it's pathetic compared to an HP Pavilion 16 gaming laptop in the same league. Secondly, I was disappointed that Zompiercer could not run smoothly in very high or even high video quality with this laptop's specs. I had to downgrade it to medium video quality before the "stuttering" screen twitch stopped. To be honest I thought he should be able to handle "HIGH". The laptop gets hot when gaming, even when it's on a cooling pad with two very powerful fans, but at least the power supply isn't too hot to touch. The main reason I returned the HP Pavilion 16 PS was 126 degrees and bothered me a lot). I will run it with some other games, run it with my VR hardware and test the battery well in games and then update this review accordingly.
