I was going to give this unit a much lower rating until the first time I turned on the light at night and was amazed. This was installed on my 2008 F250. Most problems with mismatched brackets are due to the horrible welds they form on most hitches. Use a coffee grinder to grind them smooth and you'll be fine. HOWEVER the mount didn't work for me because it blocked the safety chains, so I had to drill a 5/16 hole behind the safety chains and mount the lights directly to my hitch. I connected the return from pin 7 and it was definitely worth it. Even though the mount was a waste of time and money, I'm still very happy with the purchase. Photos do not convey these lights. They should be better able to tell you what to look for to determine a match.
