Left one of these in the pot too long with some eggs, the water boiled and I messed up all the eggs including this one trying to find replacements . Was glad I was able to get the same one as I had another for many years and I wouldn't boil eggs without it. MUCH better/more accurate than an egg timer. I mainly use it for hard boiled eggs, but there are labels for soft boiled eggs too. The only problem I've encountered is trivial: the thing has a flat bottom, but it still spins fairly easily in actively boiling water, so you sometimes have to edit a bit to read it. Arrived on time and without damage.
