Works great for apples!

There's a Bake Like a Pro channel on the Y-tube and the guy is speeding through apples for a cake like I've never seen before. People asked him where he got his knife, which wasn't identical to this one but was essentially the same. I finally found this brand. Finally I can peel an apple faster in a long spiral with some peeling. I thought serrated blades might gouge the apple, but they get nowhere. That. For real. Does. Work. And for left-handers or right-handers. It will also be good for eggplant, which I don't make very often, and nuts, or a large cream squash, and probably many other things I don't need it for yet. My only regret is that I didn't have any of these many years ago as many things with apples were not picked up due to too much time to clear so many. A big benefit is that the shaft goes right into the head as it helps to run your finger over the yellow part a bit to add more pressure or leverage. The green one I bought, though, still uses my cheap traditional no-notch potato and carrot peelers.

Pros
  • Graters, peelers and slicers
Cons
  • Useless features
