For the price, I was happy with my purchase. I didn't buy them to die cut cardboard but to round the corners on a thermolaminated sheet of paper (I think it was 20 weight) that was cut into smaller cards. I've seen some reviewers have issues with thicker cardstock, but remember these are mini punches so I doubt they were designed to punch cardstock. I don't plan on making that many laminated cards, so I didn't want to spend a lot on a hole punch. I just wanted to round the corners because after laminating and cutting the sheet, the corners of the cards were convex. I've only used a 1/2 hole so far, but I'm planning to try a larger 1" hole in the photo. If I encounter any problems I will update this review. The only problem I had was really my fault. When I cut the laminated sheet into pieces I didn't make them perfectly flat so there was a hole on one edge near the corner. I smoothed out with scissors. I just wanted to let buyers know that they need to have the paper perfectly square and also the paper/corners in the punch perfectly aligned or you'll get a drip, but I guess that goes for any angle punch. All in all I can't complain as it's much better than trying to do it by hand, and it worked for my purposes. The mini size would be perfect for hobbyists on the go or light office use, and the price was relatively cheap at around $7 at the time of this review. I would recommend these kicks.
