Here is my update: After 3 or 4 days it started clogging. I sweep every day, so I wasn't expecting this little thing to gobble up masses of pets. For some reason it started clogging and I had to stop and take it apart a few times to clean it. It's become more of a job than the traditional broom and dustpan. I even disassembled the filter compartment, cleaned it, let it dry and then tried again. Blocking. So unfortunately I returned it. I love this product. We just built a house WITHOUT A CARPET as we have a lot of pets. Daily sweeping became tiring and my old vacuum died. I have an incurable bladder condition that causes pain 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and certain things make the pain worse. After I got sick, vacuuming became hard work. I thought I would try a stick vacuum for my new house and it was a great purchase! It's so light and easy to use/maneuver. Effortlessly sucks up all the dog hair, dirt and sand they leave behind. The bin is small, but I can do the main part of the house and empty it 2-3 times, which is not bad at all! My only complaint is that the battery life is short. To vacuum the whole house I have to charge it 3 times. I got faster the longer I use it, so that helps. If there is a larger battery, I would buy it without hesitation. I would buy this little vacuum cleaner again and can only recommend it!
