Does not replace the plastic puff scrubber

Unfortunately, the properties of these lightweight plastic scrubbers that allow them to create such a pleasant lather from body wash also make them an ideal hiding place for bacteria. While this scrubber is a nice size and feel, it doesn't produce the suds you would expect in the shower.
