First, the fit and finish of the product is fine. It has good folding action, but the fit of the largest felt hub didn't satisfy my critical eye. It wobbles slightly, and the felt bushing that the brass guides are inserted into did not go all the way through, causing unwanted play. I ordered the same thick felt to fix this and it fixed the quality control issue. Second, and more importantly, the monocular does NOT have 25x magnification. It's closer to 14x. And the minimum focusing distance is not 2.5 meters, but 4 meters. The apparent field of view of the eyepiece is 24.5 degrees. True View (AFOV) is also around 1.9 degrees or 100 feet at 1000 yards. All in all a somewhat disappointing but respectable monocular for the price. If I could pay more for a better construction using real brass instead of brass plated brass, with a much better fit and finish, I'd happily pay at least $40 instead of $20. It's a shame to be honest with such good optical glass it includes.
