Review on πŸ–€ OXO Good Grips Silicone Sink Strainer: Maximizing Efficiency in Black by Ryan Lawrence

If you want to protect your manhole this filter is perfect

I bought this OXO filter to protect my manhole after almost breaking the glass and potentially falling into sharp pieces in disposal . Then, in a fear-lit moment, realizing the obvious, it occurred to me that there was no safe way to remove the broken glass from the garbage chute yourself and it would be far better to prevent this problem in advance. Of course, such a colander is also useful for preventing cutlery, whisks, lids of jugs, etc. from falling into the trash can, but such troubles are not a great danger of cutting your fingers into pieces and pulling them out like glass. So it was the threat of glass that made me order this filter. At the same time that I ordered it, I ordered two other brands and let me say this one is way better than all the others. The silicone underside keeps it firmly in place and prevents even the smallest scraps of food (or glass) from falling into the bin. The stainless steel plate also has a nice folded down edge for extra protection. It has a convenient handle with a comfortable grip that makes it easy to pull it out of the drain for washing. When this strainer fills up with food debris, water can still pass through, so you don't have to keep cleaning it while you're busy washing, cutting and trimming food. Like the flushing filters, this one is also very attractive. Finally, silicone and stainless steel don't have any rough edges to cut or cut yourself like the screen I bought unfortunately had. The silicone and stainless steel construction of this product also means that it is much stronger than strainers and therefore less prone to bending, which is a real problem if you really want to protect your drain or drain.
