Review on 🍫 BioSteel Chocolate Plant-Based Protein Powder - Sugar Free, Vegan, Non-GMO Post Workout Formula with 25 Servings by Johnny Bowen

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Really good blend of plant-based protein at a decent 25 grams per serving.

I like trying different types of protein powders, especially since I'm on a plant-based diet and need protein. A friend at work always wrinkled her nose and preferred whey protein powder to anything with peas in it. The main thing was that the severity repelled her. On the other hand, I prefer pea proteins, as does another colleague. However, this blend of organic proteins appears to be much less solid than pea protein. Biosteel has several different vegetable protein sources. I'm not a smoothie drinker, but I prefer protein powder in yogurt. If desired I will add a little aroma to make it more pleasant. The powder blends easily with no lumps, which leads me to think it would blend just as well if added to a smoothie. I wasn't strong enough to give it up entirely. What I really like is that there's a whopping 25 grams of protein in one scoop. What I can't get from food I can easily get from Biosteel. The use of stevia makes it more suitable for diabetics, but I'm not sure about the natural flavors. Some people protest while I watch the fence. I've included the ingredients below for a closer look. I was very happy with the taste as well as the fact that I was getting a decent amount of protein. INGREDIENTS: Organic Brown Rice Protein, Pea Protein, Natural Flavors, Organic Pumpkin Seed Protein, Pea Starch, Celtic Sea Salt, Xanthan Gum, Sea Salt, Stevia Leaf Extract
