Missing Instructions

One of the problems with this mold is the lack of instructions for use with this mold. I wanted to include in this overview how to use these forms. One thing to understand before purchasing this mold is that it is made of silicone rubber and must be cut off the candle or soap with a very sharp, thin-bladed knife, such as a razor blade or fillet knife. I used it to make candles.1. Using a large eyed carpet needle2, thread the wick through the bottom of the mold. Attach and center the wick in the pouring area (top of the mold)3. The pouring temperature of the wax should not exceed 170 degrees Fahrenheit, I poured the wax for my candles at 165 degrees Fahrenheit4. Allow to cool and fill in as the wax shrinks5. Score the shape on one side until the candle comes out freely. The form should not be cut to the bottom.6. The candle is very small, this pink candle is 2.25 inches high. Use rubber bands that should be tight but not tight. The rubber bands should be tight enough to hold the mold together without deforming the inside of the mold.8. These molds are not designed to last, after three uses the internals are already showing signs of discoloration and slight wear on the parts9. Clean the molds with soap and water between uses, otherwise dirt and old wax will build up and spoil the detail. . Overall, it wasn't as bad as I initially thought, but I hope it helps someone else who buys this product. The price is very reasonable.
