Review on πŸ’ͺ Experience Advanced Health and Fitness Tracking with Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 Classic 42mm Smartwatch - GPS, ECG Monitor, Sleep Cycles, Fall Detection, and Bluetooth - Black US Version by Minoru Yamaguti ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Best thing for the money, glad I did it.

This is the third watch of this kind that I've had; my previous ones were made by Sony and Garmin. I did not have enough for Garmin to work with notifications, the ability to answer with voice from the watch, install many necessary applications, and some other functions, some of which were even on the old Sony watches, so I purchased these instead (but there was no heart rate monitor). Samsung has taken over for Garmin as the go-to brand for business and casual attire. I tried on 46mm, but they looked too heavy on my small wrist (width 6 girth 17 cm), so I went with 42mm instead. I was aware that I would need to charge them every day, or more accurately, every night, but there was still some chance that they could last for two days. It did not justify itself; with typical, active use and a single, one and a half to two-hour training session that included recording a GPS track, they survived from morning to evening, but their effectiveness ranged from 15% to 20%. And if it could be charged fast, everything would be good; otherwise, it would take between two and two and a half hours. But I just realized this, and it's a shame that I wasn't incorrect in the first place. Aside from that, in terms of one's health, everything works as it should: sleep, oxygen, stress, bioimpedance (this is how it happens on the scales, fat, meat, bones and water as a percentage) and, if desired, you can start and what should not (I do NOT have a Samsung phone, ECG and blood pressure should not, but they work when installing SHM from alternative sources) and even more so with Samsung phones. It is not measured in any way, but there are more and more unique watch faces being added every day. These watch faces have been customized especially for this watch and are only available for Wear OS. You are able to use a chest Bluetooth heart rate monitor if the device supports an application. Some examples of such applications include Ghost Racer and Adidas running. Voice-to-text responses are able to be entered, and the display includes emoticons, images, and input via the keyboard. Both GPay and SPay are able to process payments. There are no jerks or lags in the interface; it moves quite quickly and smoothly. As a consequence of this, the capability is precisely the one that delivers the experience of Samsung and Wear OS from Google, and it is the feature that Tizen and Garmin were sorely lacking. Yet at the risk of one's independence. There is a lot of untapped potential in the system. The watch is incredibly enjoyable to wear and makes using it a joyous experience. The clock will have a large number of users, which indicates that the system will advance.

Pros
  • The quality of the materials, the craftsmanship, the appearance, the movement and function of the bezel, and the display are all exceptional in their own right.
Cons
  • Duration of use from a single charge, as well as charging time. Even in contrast with the old clock on this system (Wear OS), there are some minor software flaws; however, it is abundantly evident that this is a new system for Samsung, and it is still in the process of being perfected.
