I first bought this to run my guitar amp off battery so I can play musical instruments. On the other hand, it performed very well and delivered good, clean performance without any noise, which is important for music applications. I later fitted it to a van and it broke down within a month of almost constant use. My guess is that maybe it was the 14.4V being fed with charged batteries, or maybe it just wasn't designed to be used 24/7. In any case, it still works, but with an awful buzz, and it can't even handle just under 200 watts anymore.
